On this platter, a lone sun bather encircled by an abundant cornucopia enjoys the fading rays of the late summer sun… A bittersweet time of the year for many.

The cornucopia is a symbol of peace, prosperity and good fortune, associated with many Greek and Roman gods, and appearing throughout history on harvest tables.

Hand formed terracotta platter decorated with coloured slips, with sgrafitto detail.

Ideally don’t put this treasure in the dishwasher but it can handle a vigorous hand wash!
