Lucie of Ludio approached us about collaborating on an embroidery project early this year and we were very keen as we already admired her gorgeous work. Lucie has worked on projects for clients like Dior, Vivienne Westwood, Celine and Clio Peppiatt and now we can add ‘Liv & Dom’ to that list!

This special, very limited edition cushion is a real work of art, the detail and amount of individual stitches Lucie has put into each element is gorgeous… The luxe silk velvet roses are particularly stunning and catch the light beautifully. The base is a lovely sturdy Merchant & Mills recycled cotton.

We’ve always loved textiles and used to be keen embroiderers at school and university. We didn’t continue down that path and haven’t explored what our work could become in textile form until now… It was a joy to work with Lucie, she totally understood the look we were after and has a similar ethos and approach to running a business as we do. We really felt our Basket of Roses painting was in safe hands with her and are thrilled with the outcome!
