Doily Slipware Urn

A large coil built slipware urn with 4 lace-like faces around the bulbous body and a flared ruffled top. Each ‘doily’ has been applied with slip, and the sgrafitto technique has been used to carve out the details. This big urn holds a big bouquet!

Coil built in earthernware and hand glazed by Liv in our Lewes Studio.
