Ancient Sumerian goddess Nanshe was a multifaceted deity associated with water bodies, particularly the sea and marshlands. She was revered as a goddess of justice, dream interpretation, divination, and social welfare. Her domain extended to the creatures of her watery realm, such as fish and birds.

Hand sculpted from an off white earthenware and hand decorated in cobalt and 24k gold lustre by Dom.

Dimensions - 20cm x 18.5cm

There is a tiny niggle with this piece, Dom placed a wee fish on the top of the candlestick slightly in the way of the flying gooses candle hole, however it is still possible to use (see picture).

It was one of the most difficult candlestick builds Dom has attempted to date, the price reflects the labour hours for this one!
