Goddess Candlestick Workshop

Goddess Candlestick Workshop
More dates available soon!
Join us at our Lewes studio from 1-5pm on August 16th for a relaxing afternoon of sculpting and painting - with us guiding you through the whole process.
We will both be there for hands on help through every stage, so all abilities are welcome for this workshop. There will be plenty of time to help everyone as there will be 10 participants!
Design, sculpt, and decorate your own goddess candlestick with us, and we will fire, glaze and send your finished piece in the post.
Pick up is available if you’re local but please do not chose pick up at the checkout if you need us to ship your piece to you. The candlestick will take 1-4 weeks after the workshop to be fired and available to collect/be posted.
All materials will be provided, as well as access to our studio kitchenette for tea and coffee or optional complimentary glass of wine!
We are offering a choice of either terracotta or off white clay for this workshop, the terracotta pieces will be decorated with white slip and cobalt oxide, the off white clay will be decorated with just cobalt oxide. Please select your preferred clay type to purchase a ticket (don’t worry, you can change your mind about this later).
Our ‘Goddesses’ Pinterest boardcan help to get your inspiration flowing. There will be time on the day to look through our reference books, think, and draw, but having a vague idea before you arrive is ideal.
You are welcome to make something similar to one of our examples or an existing sculpture but we will always encourage you to embrace your own creativity :)
