Caltha Platter

Caltha Platter

£360.00

The Caltha platter, our first foray into handled platters! Caltha is the ancient Greek name for the calendula flower, which is a real summer favourite of mine.

In Greek mythology, Caltha was a young girl so in love with the sun god Apollo that she wouldn’t leave the meadow where she could always be in his light. This enduring love led her to waste away in the fields where she turned into the calendula flower.

Ideally don’t put this treasure in the dishwasher but it can handle a vigorous hand wash!
